The most expensive home ever sold in Naperville just changed hands for $8.3 million.

The estate at 28W660 Perkins Court, sold by Rocco and Diana Salviola, closed at a price that set new records for both the city and Will County, according to Crain's Chicago Business reporter Dennis Rodkin, who first reported the sale Sunday, July 13. The price also ties for the second-highest paid for any home in the Chicago area in 2026, according to Crain's.

The sale topped Naperville's previous record by $750,000. That mark was set in 2024 when a home on Shamrock Court sold for $7.55 million.

Built in 2014, the Perkins Court property spans 21,361 square feet on nearly three acres. It has seven bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms, and two half baths. The listing describes an elevator with backlit onyx flooring, custom skylights, a hidden pantry, and a prep kitchen. A separate duplex with its own private entry sits on the grounds.

The home includes an acoustically engineered theater with a Steinway sound system, a gaming room with a built-in ATM, and a workout and boxing studio with sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge pool. Outside, the property features a pool with fire and water features, a putting green, a soccer field, a basketball court, an in-ground trampoline, and a custom play area.

The sellers originally listed the estate at nearly $9.9 million, meaning the final sale price reflected a discount of roughly $1.6 million from the asking price, according to Crain's.

The buyer's identity has not been publicly disclosed. Will County property transfer records, available through the Will County Recorder of Deeds, would show the new owner's name once the deed is recorded.

The sale marks the second time in two years that Naperville's all-time home price record has been broken.
