The storefront lineup at Springbrook Prairie Pavilion is about to get a fitness tenant: JETSET Pilates, a Miami-based boutique chain with 70 studios across the U.S., U.K. and Australia, plans to open at 2555 W. 75th St. this fall, with a target window of mid- to late October.
Before the studio doors open, general manager Jessica Herrera and her team are giving Naperville a preview. On Sunday, Aug. 16, JETSET will host a Mat Pilates class on the open-air 12th-floor Cyprus Terrace at Hotel Arista, 2139 CityGate Ln. Check-in at Arista Spa & Salon on the second floor begins at 8:30 a.m.; the hourlong class starts at 9 a.m. Registration costs $25 and is available at AristaSpaSalon.com. Capacity is limited, and guests are encouraged to bring a mat or large towel.
Herrera described the event as a chance to introduce the community to the energy and experience JETSET is building in Naperville, according to a CityGate Centre announcement. The debut is a collaboration with Hotel Arista, Kendra Scott and Regenerate Boutique.
Registered guests enter a raffle for gifts from Hotel Arista, Arista Spa & Salon and JETSET Pilates. A wellness marketplace in the adjacent Cyprus Room runs from 10 a.m. to noon, featuring Kendra Scott's Color Bar jewelry customization, Regenerate Boutique and refreshments from Arista Coffee & Café.
Fitness market along Route 59
The Naperville studio will be JETSET's third Illinois location, joining existing studios in Edwardsville and Northbrook. The brand, founded in 2010 by Tamara Galinsky, began franchising in 2022 and is targeting 150 open studios by year's end, according to the Chicago Tribune. The Naperville opening is part of a broader Chicago-area push, Herrera told the Tribune.
Its arrival adds another data point to a reshaping fitness market along the Route 59 and 75th Street corridors. LA Fitness closed its 2780 Fitness Drive location next to Costco on Wednesday, Aug. 5, following its Freedom Commons closure in March 2023. The chain's Route 59 Signature Club at 3116 S. Route 59 remains open. Meanwhile, Life Time is building a 102,000-square-foot athletic club at 4111 Tower Court, as we reported Aug. 4, with an early 2027 opening planned.
Where LA Fitness offered budget memberships and Life Time targets the luxury end, JETSET occupies a boutique niche: 50-minute reformer classes combining strength, cardio and Pilates-inspired movements with DJ-curated playlists.
Springbrook Prairie Pavilion, the LEED Gold-certified shopping center anchored by Whole Foods, Dick's Sporting Goods and Nordstrom Rack, sits at the intersection of 75th Street and Route 59. JETSET's addition brings a fitness use to a center that has historically leaned retail and grocery.
No presale launch date or ribbon-cutting for the studio has been announced. The next public milestone is the Aug. 16 rooftop event.
