Democrat Yeena Yoo faces Republican Gwen Henry for DuPage County Treasurer in the November 3, 2026 election, according to the county’s official candidate listing.

Background

Yoo’s campaign biography says she was elected to the County Board in 2022, previously chaired its Technology Committee and now chairs Economic Development. She describes a legal-aid career assisting seniors, veterans and survivors of domestic violence. She holds a law degree and a master’s in social work from Washington University in St. Louis and a psychology degree from Wellesley College.

Treasurer proposals

Her current campaign platform calls for more reliable tax-system software and closer cooperation with county technology staff and vendors. She proposes a clearer website and payment portal to help residents find property-tax information and use available payment options.

Yoo also proposes neighborhood events, partnerships with local organizations and digital outreach to explain exemptions and relief programs, especially for older residents and veterans. She says she would work with county and state leaders on policies supporting homeownership. These are campaign proposals, rather than guarantees of changes to tax bills.
