Naperville families looking for something to do between Wednesday, July 22, and Sunday, July 27, have at least five free options and one county fair within a short drive. Here's what's worth putting on the calendar.

Free Zumba Party in the Park — Friday, July 25

The Naperville Park District is hosting a free Zumba Party in the Park at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 25, at Wagner Pavilion, the covered stage at 95th Street Community Plaza inside Frontier Sports Complex (3380 Cedar Glade Drive). All ages welcome. Registration is required through napervilleparks.org. The Park District announced the event on its official X account Tuesday, July 21, calling it a chance to "bring some friends and get moving to start your summer weekend."

BrightSide Theatre: Classic Broadway — Wednesday, July 22

BrightSide Theatre's free outdoor "Classic Broadway" revue hits Country Lakes Park (1835 N. Aurora Road) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 22. Five vocalists and four live musicians perform an hour of Broadway favorites. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. The Naperville Park District noted on X that only two dates remain after Wednesday: Thursday, August 6, at Ranchview Park (1727 Ranchview Drive) and Sunday, August 16, at Arrowhead Park (711 Iroquois Avenue).

River Rhapsody: The Yacht Rockettes — Wednesday, July 22

The River Rhapsody Concert Series brings The Yacht Rockettes to the Naperville Riverwalk from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22. Free admission. The band plays late-'70s and early-'80s hits. Wine, beer, and food available for purchase, according to the Arts DuPage event listing.

Naperville Municipal Band + DuPage Symphony Orchestra — Thursday, July 23

The Naperville Municipal Band and DuPage Symphony Orchestra perform a joint concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at Central Park Community Concert Center (104 E. Benton Ave.). Free. The NMB's Thursday summer series, led by Music Director Emily Binder and Associate Conductor William Jastrow, runs through Thursday, August 13. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic.

185th DuPage County Fair — Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, July 26

The DuPage County Fair returns to the fairgrounds at 2015 Manchester Road in Wheaton. Hours: Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; Friday 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; Saturday noon–11 p.m.; Sunday noon–8 p.m. Admission runs $8–$12; free for children 5 and under and active military. A daily mega pass with unlimited carnival rides costs $35.

New this year: Future Farmers of America student exhibits, free 20-minute glass-blowing lessons from Ikonic Glass, a Fairground Flyer trackless train running noon to 8 p.m. daily, and a large-scale pollinator garden. Live music headliners include Ert From Earth (Thursday), Thankful Dead (Friday), Grupo Regresivo (Saturday), and Wildwood Country (Sunday).
