Richard D. Felice appears on the November 3, 2026 ballot in a nonpartisan retention question for the 18th Judicial Circuit. Voters choose yes or no on whether he should remain a circuit judge; this is not a race against another candidate. The question appears in DuPage County’s official sample ballot.
Court assignment and legal career
The court’s current roster identifies Felice as presiding judge of the Domestic Relations Division.
A biography published by the Milton Township Republican Organization describes his earlier domestic-relations and litigation practice at Laraia & Kilander and his own firm, formed in 1986. It also records service as president of the Illinois State Bar Association in 2014–2015 and leadership of the DuPage County Bar Association. He earned degrees from Loyola University Chicago and Northern Illinois University’s law school.
Advisory assessment
The 2026 joint judicial advisory poll lists Felice as Recommended. The assessment reflects participating attorneys’ responses and is advisory. A biography on a party organization’s website does not make the retention ballot partisan.
Responses are based on public data and answers to a Surround Sound Media questionnaire if they were provided.
