Naper Settlement is staging a free outdoor walking play of Pride and Prejudice on its historic grounds Aug. 29 and 30, open to adults 55 and older.

The museum announced the event on its official X account on Sunday, Aug. 16, as part of its Golden Days series of free programming for older adults. Registration is required.

The adaptation unfolds across multiple locations on the 13-acre campus at 523 S. Webster St. in downtown Naperville. Participants walk from scene to scene as Austen's story of wit, romance and family drama plays out around them, then sit down for a Regency-era-inspired high tea.

The play is offered in three sessions: Saturday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 3 to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 30, from 3 to 6 p.m. Registration is required for each session.
